If i changes anything this is the first laptop i have tried downloading this on to, but it should work just as well as a desktop since its a "gaming" laptop. If something goes wrong during game download, it may be the result of a corrupted file causing Steam to show the disk write error. So I haven't been able to even launch the game, which is why all the other discussions have not helped me, because they are talking about installing, not a "disk write error". It only gives me the disk write error message when I try to push play. It says "updating" on the error which I'm a little confused about, maybe that's what's messing me up, and is there a way to not have it update. Game Library > Fallout 4 > Right click > Properties > Local Files > Verify Game Cache. My other computers have been able to run this in the past and they were windows 10, so i don't know why this wouldn't work too.
